Wow. It's been about three months since I last sent the last UK Bound letter... I think I had the biggest response ever, and I don't think that to do anything with my witty banter, but the news of Seth. Now, most people were surprised about the news of Seth, but hints were dropped during the other UK Bound letters. And, we have Seth's / Jimmy Wayne's pictures on the web waaaaay back in January. So, why haven't more people noticed?

Seth News - Seth is 3 and a half months now, and is getting bigger by the minute. Seth was a little underweight when he was born, but now, he's almost caught up. He's holding up his bobbly head, grabbing things in his hands, and looks like he is getting some teeth. Times have really changed in the last couple of months. Fortunately we have been able to do a little travelling, but nothing in a plane yet (more on that later). We are really fortunate - Seth is (generally) a happy wee baby, so that makes it a lot easier. When he gets grumpy, it is quite a challenge, but that doesn't happen very often. I've just looked at his baby pictures, and he looks the same, but not... I guess you have to be there...

In August, we purchased a car and took our first long weekend trip with Seth. We thought somewhere close enough so that we could get home quickly, but far enough away to test how Seth travelled. Well, the good news is that Seth (and the car) travelled really well. We went to Northern England, and went to Durham, Darlington, Stockton and a couple of other places. Check out the website, as there just over 100 pictures.

In September, we took a week off, and went to to Aberdeen (no, not like the mall), Inverness, saw Nessie in Lock Ness (and, yes, we do have pictures), went past Dufus, and followed the east coast up to John O' Groats, to the Orkney's, and then returned via the west coast. There were places that were so beautiful with almost white sand and aqua waters. We, unfortunately didn't swim there, because, well, in September the water will make a polar bear shiver.

On the home front, we had some really ugly built in wardrobes in the master bedroom. These are about 50% ripped out, so it's coming along. Once they are ripped out, add a little plaster, some paint, then it's off to Ikea to purchase the rest of the new wardrobe.

On the job front, on Monday my job will be officially moved to India. I have a new job, but unfortunately the team I am moving into hasn't the best moral in the office. So, I'll have to ride it for a bit, and give it the old team spirit, and hope for a good bonus. I've impressed quite a few of the upper management, so here's hoping.

I guess that's it for this edition. Hope this finds you well.

Brian, Kim and wee Seth.
